With increasing demand for accommodation in London over the Olympic months, not to mention the high costs associated, the ZGClub has created a network for Zimbabweans to find reasonably priced lodgings. The organization is currently looking for contacts living in and around the London area who would be interested in taking part in the scheme. The Olympic Games run from July 27-August 12 and the Paralympics follow on from August 29-September 9. There will be thousands of international visitors arriving in the UK during this time, placing a great demand on budget accommodation. The ZGClub is a partnership between the Zimbabwean Embassy and private sector organisations who want to establish a network of good quality, low cost accommodation options. Minimum requirements that lodgers can anticipate are Wi-Fi provision, printing facilities, local travel information and airport transfers (at an additional cost).
