I can make Musona hit the net – Moyo

The former youth international recently said he has gained enough experience to help his German-based counterpart rattle the nets more regularly, as Zimbabwe fight for qualification to the 2012 Afcon and 2014 World Cup tournaments.

“Musona is fast and with my height, I can help him cause havoc in the box. My height troubles a lot of defenders and will give us an aerial advantage, which Musona can easily utilise,” said the lanky Alkanorus striker.

He took a swipe at the previous ZIFA administration for failing the country.

“They only focused more on enriching themselves than developing the game. They are the reason behind the Asia-gate Scandal,” he said.

“They did not even commit themselves to proper training of our national players prior to the games. Coaches need at least two weeks to understand their players, but in Zimbabwe, that is brought down to days and it will not take us anywhere.”

He still believes that the current crop of players are capable of achieving notable things, despite the suspension of more than 80 others.

“We still have many excellent players locally and abroad and should the coaches select well, we can make it.”
