Libya clashes

Militia clashes in southern Libya have killed nearly 50, and fighting has spread to the centre of the country's fourth largest city despite the deployment of army troops trying to stop the violence. The clashes highlight the difficulty of maintaining authority following the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi.
