Sudan conflict

The U.N. Security Council says clashes along the border between Sudan and newly independent South Sudan threaten to reignite their civil war. The 15-member council called on both governments to exercise “maximum restraint”. The two countries signed a memorandum of understanding on non-aggression on Feb. 10.
