The donation was made possible through a partnership with business people and friends in Britain who followed an appeal by local church leaders to help the starving villagers.
The Chairman of Holly Covenant Trust Zimbabwe Chapter, Pastor Paul Nyaronga, said the more than 200 food hampers consisted of soya and fortified children’s food, rice, mealie meal, dried fish, salt, sugar, cooking oil and beans among other groceries.
