Foreign journo fined

Hammond Robin Nicholas (37), arrested on April 16, has been fined $150 by a Beitbridge magistrate for contravening the Protected Areas and Places and Immigration Acts. He risks a 60-day jail term if he fails to pay the fine by the end of the week.He was arrested with Bertha Chiguvare (31) after being allegedly found taking photographs at the Beitbridge Border Post for a story on the irregular migration of Zimbabweans to South Africa.
