Gwaze wins Easter open

International Master Robert Gwaze won the just ended Easter Open held at Causeway Post Office Restaurant.The tourney started on Good Friday and ended on Monday. Gwaze shrugged off the stiffest challenge from IM Chitumbo Mwali of Zambia and FM Makoto Rodwell. The South African based Makoto drew against Gwaze and IM Mwali of Zambia.Spencer Masango lost to Makoto in round 8. Mwali and Mabusela were tied on third position as well as Cevan Murerwa. They had 7.5 points.There was a tie on the fifth position,Lloyd Moyo,Spencer Masango, Elisha Chimbamu, Emerald Mushore, Ronald Chimanzi, Eric Takawira and Tribulation Motsi.

This was a tie for the fifth position. Collins Mabodögwa of Glenorah Knights Academy was the best under 12 player. The tourney was run by Elton Mangarayi, Reuben Muza and Clive Mpambela. It was well organised. Keep up the standard gentlemen. Mr Charles Kuwaza the ZCF President presented the prizes. kudos for an organised tourney.
