They were met at the Harare International Airport by Vice President Joice Mujuru, cabinet ministers Webster Shamu, Sydney Sekeramai, Nicholas Goche, Saviour Kasukuwere, senior government officials and service chiefs.
Mugabe shook hands with the officials, talked with Vice President Mujuru who briefed him before he left the airport for state house.
There had been media reports that Mugabe was battling for his life in a hospital in Singapore Mugabe did not address journalists who where at the airport.
Information and Publicity minister Webster Shamu told the journalists that the return of Mugabe showed that he was in good health and would chair a Cabinet meeting this morning.
“Our president is here. All prophets of doom have seen reality. He is as fit as a fiddle. Why do we wish somebody dead and lie about our head of State. Why pander to the agenda of imperialism,” said Shamu.Post published in: News
