HARARE – Highlanders dropped their first set of points, while Hwange tasted their first defeat last weekend, as the PSL season’s fourth week drew blood and thunder across the country.

Chicken Inn 3-0 Blue Rangers

The Bulawayo-based side replaced Shabanie at the top of the table after this win, going two points clear after their fourth game of the season.

Buffaloes 1-1 Highlanders

Prosper Matizanadzo scored a first half goal of the match, but that was cancelled by Bosso substitute, Beavan Chikaka for a share of the spoils that left the Bulawayo giants in third place on the log standings.

Dynamos 4-1 Black Mambas (Rufaro)

The Harare giants thumped the police outfit to ease pressure on coach, Calisto Pasuwa. Goals from Denver Mukamba, Rodreck Mutuma, Takesure Cinnamon and an own-goal by defender Kumbirai Kapikunyu, did the trick for Dembare. This ended Dembare’s three-game losing streak.

Hardbody 2-0 Hwange (Ascot)

Hardbody handed Tenant Chiluba’s charges their first league loss here in 10 years –Michael Mageja and impressive forward, Aleck Marime handing them their first win in four outings. The “Watosvorwa boys” were inspired by the return of Captain Calisto Maheya, red-carded against champions Dynamos in the first game.

Quelaton 0 -3 Motor Action (Luveve)

Ismael Lawe grabbed a brace and Captain John Benard scored the other as the Mighty Bulls collected maximum points away from home in a boring game.
