The development was revealed by the clothing line's founder and chief executive Marco Machona on the vast growing social network site – Facebook.
"Ruffcut$(Wear) can officially announce that we shall be the official merchandise sponsor for the Zimbabwe's 7's Rugby for the next three years including the maiden Olympics appearance. We thank Zimbabwe Rugby Union and Zimbabwe's Rugby for trusting Ruffcut$ Wear. A shop shall be erected to sell the merchandise by the Union," posted Machona on his wall.
When reached for comment, he confirmed the development before directing all questions to Robbie Du Rand who represented the company during the negotiations.
However, attempts to get a comment from Du Rand and ZRU president John Falkenberg were fruitless.
