A hit in SA for Nations Brothers

The Nations Brothers, Zimbabwean gospel music flag-bearers in South Africa, have released an album they say is their best offering so far.

Titled “Siyabonga Jesu”, the 15-track album is a third offering by The Nations Brothers and sixth overall by combined members of The Nations band, who also record as The Nations Sisters, Quiet and Tshiamo.

Sung in Zulu, Sotho, English and Shona, the album has already become a hit in South Africa, where it has been performed live at various venues. It also enjoys airplay on the neighbouring country’s radio stations.

“The album is our way of giving thanks to Jesus Christ for the way he has led and kept us intact since we began this journey 13 years ago,” said Executive Producer, Vusumuzi Sangweni recently.

“It has not been an all-easy road, but he managed to keep us together when many groups that started after us fell apart due to splits. God has helped us achieve and learn many things along the way and we thought of recording an album that wholly gives praise to Him,” he added.
