Tholakele, who raised high the Zimbabwean flag at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, will belt her stuff alongside her South African counterpart. Also performing will be Umuzi Weskhalanga, a Swaziland Zion band that has made waves in Johannesburg in recent years.

“It will be an overnight show of praise and worship and I promise that the artists who have been lined-up are ready to raise the roof. It is a gig not to be missed,” said Usizo Promotions Director, Dominic Tedi Ndlovu.

Ngomayabo, who cut her teeth in the music industry with gospel group, Amakholwa Amahle, was the only Zimbabwean singer to perform at the World Cup opening ceremony,

Bonakele’s four albums have made her a household name in the region. Her unique brand of gospel, packaged with a rich Maskandi beat, has set her apart from most gospel singers, while her down-to-earth personality and shying away from controversy has made her a role model.
