"This is very funny because I have produced 20 albums but none of the songs on them have been played by ZBC on their radios," Majongwe said in Harare.

"I produced two albums and all the songs have now been played because I used another name on them. This just goes to show how selective these people are,’’ fumed Majongwe.

He refused to divulge the names of the two albums compiled using another person as front.

He claimed that ZBC DJs were biased against his "Chimurenga’’ music, which he said was commentary on Zimbabweans’ lives.

The broadcaster has been rapped for serving the partisan interests of Zanu (PF).

The musician has had several brushes with the law because of his trade union activities as well as his controversial songs which are sung by mainly MDC-T activists.

"I am being persecuted because of my beliefs and music but I will continue singing," said Majongwe.
