PSL Round-up

Will Highlanders ever stop winning? This was the question in most people’s minds at the weekend, as the resurgent Bulawayo giants extended their unbeaten in the Castle Lager PSL to six points and revived memories of Methembe Ndlovu’s all-conquering machine of 2006, which went 15 matches unbeaten.

The only damper so far has been a 1-1 draw away to Buffaloes, whereas Mayor’s well-oiled machine won 10 before they could drop a point.

After thrashing Monomotapa 3-0 at Barbourfields, Bosso stretched their lead to three points with a haul of 16 from six matches, with a game in hand over second-placed Motor Action.

Milton Ncube’s fourth goal of the season and a goal apiece from Peter Moyo and Graham Ncube did the trick for the Kelvin Kaindu-coached side.

Other results

Hwange 2-1 Black Mambas; Buffaloes 1-0 Chicken Inn; Blue Rangers 0-1 Gunners; Hardbody 0-1 Motor Action; Harare City 1-4 FC Platinum.
