“We have a problem as Christians because a lot of people masquerade as pastors in return for money. This album is dedicated to those who fell victim to such fraudsters,” said Ncube.

Inspired by the late gospel hero Freedom Sengwayo, Ncube started singing at the age of 10 where he attended singing sermons engineered by Sengwayo. Known for being energetic on stage Ncube vowed to fill the void left by the departed Sengwayo and Olesung.

“These great men inspired me with their original music and I will definitely make sure that I take the gospel forward from where they left. I learnt a lot from them and will also help transfer their teachings to the next generation,” he said.

The release has sold more than a 2000 copies since its launch two weeks ago.
