Tripple B fires warning shots

Tripple B shot to the Central Soccer League log summit following a thumping 3-1 win over Chapungu FC at the weekend.

The Beitbridge-based side, which missed promotion by a whisker last season, is hopeful of nailing it at the end of this campaign. Coach Friday Phiri said hopes of landing PSL status were very high in the side.

“This season holds great things for us and the people of Beitbridge. Our aim is promotion,” said Phiri.

With 16 points in 6 matches, Tripple B is just two points ahead of other trailblazers, Strikers FC who now trail Chapungu by a point. Prison side, Hwahwa FC continued their dance with relegation, having managed a point after the same number of games.
