
He was giving a presentation on cyber security in Zimbabwe and how firms must handle their information technology resources.
“We might be worried about Facebook taking over our African culture but the social platform can make you well known to the world. I am a president of some African business organisations but I can lead them from here because we communicate using Facebook,” said Binha.
The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Nelson Chamisa, also encouraged business executives to become familiar with new technologies. He said ICT was moving “like a veld fire” and was unstoppable.
Top government officials, including Thokozani Khupe, Welshman Ncube, Saviour Kasukuwere and Walter Mzembi, are active members with huge followings.
