Zibozi wants local music promoted

Solitaire Zibusiso Ncube, better known as Zibozi in his music circles, released his second Hip Hop-Kwaito album in Pretoria recently. Zibozi’s hit song

Lakosta 2 dominated in the city and took his followers by storm. “It is great exposure for me as an artist to perform alongside great artists like Nox Guni and Vulgar,” he said.

He was recently invited to perform at the Ideas Festival Road Shows organized by the Bulawayo City Council in collaboration with the Australian government.

“Our business community is not investing in the art industry in Bulawayo. I also urge people to stop piracy as it is killing our industry and future,” said Zibozi.

Prince Mahlangu, Zibozi’s manager, said this man is going places as his lyrical content which addresses challenges faced by the society. “Coming to South Africa is a cross-cultural exchange which is vital in the arts industry and we should do a lot more,” he said.
