Connor revamps MaKepeKepe youth

Caps United mentor Sean Connor plans to revamp the club’s junior policy and bring sustainable success to the Harare giants. The import from Northern Ireland, who has managed to survive a bad start to the season, made known his intention to revive the club’s junior development within the next five years.

“It is important that we get those young players in the team. Playing with experienced players will help them build confidence and mature quickly,” he said. “I want to develop not only fully-equipped players, but fully-rounded individuals as well. Their diet is very important in helping them become strong, fast players.”

He has identified five players for promotion, including attacking midfielders, Maxwell Murimi and Keith Chikotora, central midfielder Tonderai Nyakuba, strikers David Chigora and Jerry Ganyiwa.
