The incident happened at Matshatinyoni village under Chief Malisa on Sunday morning. According to sources, Knowledge Phiri (30) lured his wife, Thembinkosi Moyo, to a nearby bush.
“Phiri started assaulting his wife with switches until she fell unconscious,” a source said. The body was taken to Kwekwe General Hospital while a manhunt has been launched for Phiri.
