The Lord Malvern High school graduate has shown flashes of having played alongside Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona at Black Aces Academy. Both those players have gone to create waves in the world of sport.

Billiat has been the heart and soul of South Africa’s Ajax Cape Town, where he is rumoured to be on his way to sister club, Ajax Amsterdam in Holland.

Musona used the same stage with Kaizer Chiefs, to propel himself to Germany, where he side with TSG Hoffenheim. The two players are also regulars for the senior national team.

“I am eager to also make a name for myself and follow in their footsteps. I however, remain patient because I know that my time to play out of the country will come. My peers were presented an opportunity which they utilised and in the same vein, nothing will stop me,” the 23-year-old told The Zimbabwean recently.

He wants to utilise his loan stay at struggling Blue Rangers to prove his worth.

“At Caps United, I played alongside many experienced players who understood my style of play, but it is a different case here”. “They have their own way of doing things and to expect me to adapt within such a very short period of time will be far too much, but I promise to do my best.”

“Bambo (Chunga) believes in young blood and during his tenure at Caps, he gave me enormous game time and he would tell me to express myself freely in the game, while Mathuthu gave me my premiership debut”.

As evidence of his immense talent, Mukwezvaramba has 12 young Warriors caps, obtained at the Under-17 and Under-23 levels.
