Wayne Bvudzijena, the main spokesman for the police, said in an interview 
that he had not spoken to the Harare-based newspaper and was unaware of any probe.
Biti was not available for comment.

Police deny Biti investigation
The police have denied investigating Finance Minister Tendai Biti, despite allegations published in a state-controlled newspaper that they were looking into a deposit from the International Monetary Fund of $20 million in Interfin Bank.
