Assassin, who came on stage at midnight after a sterile performance by local artists, shook the fully packed venue. He stormed the stage with his hit track Drink and Merry, saluting his fans and promising a polished show.

“This is my first time in Zimbabwe and I will not disappoint. “I am the ‘Assassin’ and that is exactly my mission,” he said.

His vibrant vocals and inspiring talk kept the crowd on their toes as he dropped hit records including Something’s Got (City Life Riddim), Nothing At All (Pepper Riddim) and Same Ting Again.

However, the excitement of the show was too much for one young fan who jumped on to the stage and snatched Assassin’s sunglasses.

Meanwhile, local artists’ first ever tune for tune clash gave fans extra value for money with a spectacular performance from Emmanuel ‘Guspy warrior’ Manyeruke, Jiggaz, Donald ‘Sniper’ Chirisa, Dadza D and Lady Squanda among others.
