Boyz Retonaz Album Launch Count down

The Zimbabwean hip-hop duo, BOYZ RETONAZ, is making their mark this weekend as it releases its new album. Through the highs and lows of the music business, they have kept their heads high until perseverance finally yielded fruit. The album is made of 15 tracks and features artist such as Stunner, Roby Gee, Flame, Kammir, Shanky, Hastings and Tiia (most of which are based in the UK). So I would urge old and new fans to come and witness this prime event at Paternoster Bar, St Paul’s, London EC4M 7DZ. Tickets will be going for £15 including a copy of the album. The Manager Tapiwanashe Kapumha also added, “We have done well so far, however, our dream is to represent Zimbabwe on an international stage and take our talent to greater heights”.

The group BOYZ RETONAZ, made up of Tariro Muteke (K-SLASH) and Matthew Sithole (Uncle Methaz) are best known for their mix tape UsadherereDOTcom, which they released at the end of 2011(available free to download, go to http://www.mediafire.com/?v1lqqcf4zz47t) giving us songs like Mabhebhi Mabhebhi and How Far. On the night, the duo will be performing some old tracks but mostly new songs such as KaHeavy aka Ma1 (which comes out on the 18th July 2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31y9-ML7Wjc) and probably their most popular track to date Ndimi Mafanz, which was a collaboration with the Zimbabwean hip- hop superstar STUNNER. The night promises to be a classic Afro hip-hop event experienced in a way that can only be described as memorable. Other highlights of the glamorous night will include the ever so talented rap artist Flame and other acts such as Robby Gee, Money B, Shanky, Nozipho, All Stars and Foot Prynce.
