Former Warriors striker Terrence Mandaza snapped up by SA's Maritzburg United FC

FORMER Zimbabwe Warriors striker, Terrence Mandaza, has been snapped up by South Africa's maritzburg United Football Club.

He will play for the SA club immediately.

Mandaza, who will be 28 years old next month, joins after being given a free transfer by Platinum Stars Football Clun, also based in South Africa, where he had spent two seasons without much success.

"I am aware that I arrived in the country with much expectation and am yet to deliver the godds," he said on the team's website in South Africa.

"I am thankful that the club still belive in me and I will do my best."

He said he was looking forward to repay the club for giving him a cghance to play for them in South Africa.

Mandaza played for Zimbabwe in two World Cup qualifiers this year. He joined a Ghanaiain midfielder Frank Sarfo Gyamfi in the Maritburg first 11.
