
The 12-tracked album features songs like I have a reason, He sanctified me, Lo umuzi, Uyangazi, Ungangidluli jesu, Singabasokiwe, Kube kuhle, Moy’ ongcwele, La angiholela khona, Bekezela, Moya wami bambelela and Izulu lomhlaba.
Established in 2011, the group comprises nine members, namely Zibusiso Sithole(lead vocalist and composer), Thamsanqa Tshongwe (tenor and composer), Celiwe Sibanda(lead vocalist, alto and composer), Mthokozisi Zondo (bass), Nhlanhla Masuku (tenor/baratone), Thubelihle Ngwenya (alto), Mercy Nkala (soprano), Codelia Nyoni(soprano) and Abigail Mlauzi(soprano).
Zondo said a team spirit, hard work and patience contributed to the successful launch of the debut.
“We all believe music is a powerful tool that can change lives and gospel music in particular is a medium through which we can send the good news of Christ to all nations,” he added. The three tracks, Lo umuzi, Izulu lomhlaba and Bekezela are powerful teachings on life, marriage and Christian life.
The group has become a hit with gospel radio stations in the Gauteng region.
