Shoko Festival line-up shapes up

As the date of this year’s Shoko Festival draws nearer the line-up of international artists is starting to shape up. Introducing from the United Kingdom Natty, a reggae artists and guitar player who started off as a Hip hop producer at Sphere recording studio in London. Natty, who secured a recording contract with Atlantic Records, has released a project entitled “Man like I” which successfully made featured on the UK top 20 charts with two singles “July” and &ldqu

Also performing at Shoko Festival is the enchanting poet from Botswana, Mandisa Mabuthoe. Mandisa is not a new name at Shoko as she performed at the Slam Poetry Express during the 2011 edition of the festival and won the competition which included the crème of international spoken word artists from around the world. Her performance left the crowd in awe as she presented thought provocative pieces. Mandisa performed at the Federation Square in Melbourne, Australia. Besides poetry Mandisa is also a play writer and performer as well as an art teacher. Those who did not get the chance to see her performance last year should not miss her this year as she brings her poetry to the main stage.
