Nyanguwo is denying the charge.
The postponment comes after the State failed to file its papers claiming thatone of the State witnesses is out of the country. The defence lawyer, Reginald Chidawanyika immediately registered a complaint with the magistrate over Nyanguwo’s stringent bail conditions.
The Chief of Staff is failing to properly discharge his day to day duties as his official vehicle is in the custody of the police. Apart from the impounded vehicle, the Nyaguwo was asked to surrender his travel documents to the courts. He is also required to report twice a week at Mabelreign Police Station in Harare.
The accused is out of custody on a $500 bail.
In another case, Emmanuel Goto, 25, the former Harare West district Youth Information secretary was on 30 May 2012 abducted by suspected Zimbabwe State security agents at O.R Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. Goto was on his way to Zimbabwe after completing a two-year diploma in musicology at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
However, on disembarking at the airport in transit to Zimbabwe he was picked up by five men and a woman who sought help from South Africa’s police details at the airport and took him to Kempton Park Police Station where he was detained for 26 days.
During his detention, three men claiming to be from the Zimbabwean embassy visited him on several occasions and heavily interrogated him on how he was sourcing funds for the MDC.
He was only deported to Zimbabwe last week on Thursday.
