Zimbabwe’s Jefferies in top 10 finish

Zimbabwe’s Formula Two racing driver Axcil Jefferies continues to move up the ladder after finishing ninth at the Siverstone Formula Two circuit in the United Kingdom at the weekend.

In a four day event, Jefferies first finished 11th before moving to eigth. He then finished 14th before taking ninth place on the last day of competition for an overall ninth place.

This is Jefferies’ third top 10 finish this year after coming out fourth and fifth in two separate events in Belgium last month.

Formula Two is just a rung behind the immensely popular Formula One which is contested by the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher.

Jefferies has managed to break into the top in the world in this sport despite the fact that Formula racing is not popular in Zimbabwe as it is considered to very expensive.

From the United Kingdom, Jefferies is moving to another competition in Germany.
