The group’s manager, Bradley Mberi, said they saw it appropriate to include the voices of the orphans as the message is relevant to their status. “They are the people in situations that need reassurance. Hands of Hope houses orphans who have lost their parents to HIV/Aids, so imagine the turmoil of these children of not having someone to look after and support them. The single will instantly strike a chord in their hearts, ” he said. Also featured on the single is the American trio of Linda, Kristih and Haley.
The group, which is affiliated to the Seventh Day Adventist church, won the Harare Has Got Talent 3 competition and put up a memorable act last year at the Glamis Stadium where they staged alongside Donnie McKlirkin, a top US gospel artist.
They have two albums under their belt, Maria and Tinevimbo, and were recently invited by the Russian Embassy to represent Africa at the Moscow Acapella Open Festival.
