The show will bring onto one stage Bulawayo and Harare, Ndebele and Shona, white and black, ghetto and posh cultures, sharing and interacting with audiences from all sorts of backgrounds.
“This vision seeks to bring a different dimension and understanding of Zimbabwean life, our day to day trials, our successes and our laughter. LMFAO is a modern culture, arts and heritage preservation and promotion show through the medium of comedy, performance arts and audio-visual technology,” said Butshilo Nleya, one of the organizers.
Bulawayo-based comedian Clive Chigubu is one of the hottest and youngest stand-up comics. He seems to be maturing by each performance. Ntando Van Moyo is another comedian who is rated highly in the City of Kings. The Alliance Francaise de Bulawayo, in conjunction with Bantu Arts Inc, are the brains behind the event.
