“I have been doing a lot of things including bar management in several city bars in order to get money to start my acting project,” she said.
Mangwende dismissed claims that she had turned to commercial sex work to earn a living.
“I know that people have been saying a lot about me because they see me in some of the local bars. They conclude that I am looking for commercial sex clients but it’s not like that,” she said.
Mangwende was one of the longest serving actors in Studio 263 but when it bounced back early this year she was not part of the cast.
