Mushekwi left Wednesday night for assessment at Greuther Furth and will be on trials until Sunday missing out of Sundowns’MTN8 semi final tie against Moroka Swallows over the weekend.
The Brazilians announced Wednesday that they have allowed Mushekwi to undergo the trials as they want to secure the best possible move for their players who wish to further their careers abroad.
SpVgg Greuther Furth have been promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time, after gaining promotion in the 2011/12 season.
They are looking at bolstering their squad upfront with the possible addition of the Zimbabwean marksman.
Mushekwi’s proposed move is said to be worth around R10 million about $1,2 million should the deal sail through.
Another Zimbabwean Knowledge Musona is also playing in the Bundesliga for FC Augsburg following a loan deal from FC Hoffeinheim.
Mushekwi started off playing basketball before turning to football where he became an instant hit at Caps United before being sold to Sundowns.
