According to reports, disruptions occured at Masvingo Polytechnic, St. Anthons and Berejena Mission Schools.
The disturbances by the State actors came a day after the Acting Minister of Finance, Hon. Gorden Moyo called for an urgent press conference in Harare announcing the postponement of the registration and training of the enumerators by a day to clear the swelling issues surrounding the participation of Zanu PF aligned soldiers.
Meanwhile, in Manicaland province, the MDC District Youth Assembly organising secretary for Chimanimani West, Collen Machikopa was on Sunday assaulted by Zanu PF's Pearson Chikavhanga.
Machikopa was barred from reporting by members of the neighbourhood watch committee manning the station.
However, a determined Machikopa will visit the Manicaland police provincial headquarters and Jomic to report the conduct of police in his district as well as the assault incident.
