The 3-1 victory over Angola was very convincing, lm so sure we can also beat them in their own backyard. We need to keep focused as a nation and not worry about the problems affecting our game. – Simon Mafero, Budiriro 5.
The victory was relief for Rahman Gumbo. At least he has something to brag about to his critics and we just have to give it to him. He did a great job. But it is not over yet and we need to make sure we finish the job before we start celebrating. This was just the first battle and Angola is out there loading guns and planning on how they can win the war. – Tawanda Mandizvidza, Warren Park.
Well done Warriors. You have represented the nation well and proved that together, we can do it. Keep up the good work and make sure we go and finish them off in Angola. – Yogo, Mufakose.
I would have loved to watch Knowledge Musona play in the team last weekend, but I was still happy that Zimbabwe won. I’m glad at least Billiart, Gutu and the rest of the boys proved that they are worthy of the nation’s recognition and appreciation. All the focus was now Musona as if he makes the team alone. Of course he is good, but we need to know that it is a team effort. – Oswald Dube, Mpumulanga.
Warriors may you please give us some more of that spectacular display. The team gave us value for our money. It is not easy to part with $10 after working so hard for it but after the game on Sunday I was all smiles and I felt I was served. – Peter Shamhu, Marondera.
It’s all about the Warriors! What a sweet victory for sure! Keep it up boys!! – Andrew Farisai, Mutare.
Nyika Chifamba needs to be professional and make sure he does his job of bringing players for national team duty in time. If Musona’s club was notified late, then there was nothing the young man could have done to be here. We don’t want people who blame their incompetence on others. – Shepherd Ncube, Bulawayo.
I would like to congratulate the Warriors for winning the game against Angola. Indeed, it was a victory for the nation. ZIFA will not need to take credit for a job well done by players on the field when they are not doing any perfect job for them off the it. This should be a team effort, starting from administration to the team’s preparations for us to say we won as a nation. It is the Warriors who won here. –Ian Mandara, Kwekwe.
