The likeable star, who rose to prominence as Vimbai in Studio 263, will star in a movie that will hit South African screens in October. Johannesburg-based movie director, Tinashe Jonas, confirmed the 29-year-old Nhira will play a role as one of the lead actresses in The Rapists.
“Anne is busy rehearsing with the rest of the cast. She is excited to be resuming her career and returning to the small screen after a number of years,” Jonas, who is also her manager, told The Zimbabwean.
Based on a true story, The Rapists, is about the tribulations of a South African young woman, Siphokazi Beya.
