ZigZag to launch new album

Chigiyo music outfit ZigZag band has lined up live shows in a bid to popularise its new album expected end of this month. The eight-member crew led by founder, Steven Lunga, is hoping to reunite with its myriad of fans after having put on hold live shows during winter.

Zig-Zag Band became a household name after the release of hit Gomo Ramasare in 1987. Other songs like Mudzimu Mukuru, Bombiro and Mhondoro Dzinomwa Munasave saw the group widening its fan base before sinking into obscurity in 2005 after the release of Chigiyo Vibes.

Band manager Madson ‘TBR’ Phiri said the shows would give a taste of the new album titled “Harder than Rock”.
