Another beauty in Diaspora

Cape Town-Organisers of Miss Zim-Cape Town Beauty pageant are accepting nominations from aspiring contestants based here for the event scheduled for end of November at Ritz Hotel.

The inauguration of this show is organised by Oliver Keith reigning Zimbabwe's Best Male Model and famous musician Betty Makaya.

The event Marketing officer Maynard Chizavare told the Zimbabwean that they are expecting hordes of beautiful girls to showcase the country's beauty and talent.

"We received more than 200 responses from beauty queens keen in participating in this weekend's inaugural auditions of Miss Zim-Cape Town.

The Show emanated when we discovered the true beauty of the Zimbabwean girl child here and hence to celebrate the diverse beauty of our land. We realized that those all our beautiful girls in Diaspora shouldn't be deprived of an opportunity to prove themselves and represent their country in beauty international shows," said Chizavare.

Chizavare added that winners of the beauty pageant crown will get automatic entry into Miss Zim SA Finals set to be held in Harare next year.

The nomination process only allows people of Zimbabwean origin between 1,7m tall, aged between 18 and 29, basic knowledge of Zimbabwe's Current Affairs, unmarried, without children and never have been in any customary union with regards to marriage.
