INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index advanced 1.83 points (1.23%) to 150.58 points during a trading session that was dominated by positive trades. ECONET (ECO.zw) and PPC (PPC.zw) rose 5 cents to settle at 455 cents and 240 cents respectively. SEEDCO (SEED.zw) added 2.19 cents to 91.20 cents; DELTA (DLTA.zw) gained 2.10 cents to 83.10 cents while BAT (BAT.zw) inched up 2 cents to 447 cents. INNSCOR (INN.zw) was 1.28 cents firmer at 71.30 cents and MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) gained 0.49 cents to 17 cents.
However, M&R (MAR.zw) retreated 2 cents to trade at 2 cents. FBCH (FBC.zw) was down 0.20 cents to 7.10 cents and NTS (NTS) slipped 0.10 cents to 3 cents.
MININGS
The mining index gained 0.40 points (0.43%) to close at 93.02 points. RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) was up a cent to 61 cents. BINDURA (BIND.zw), FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and HWANGE (HCCL.zw) were unchanged at previous trading levels.
