
The Bulawayo beauty will battle with 96 other models from across the world for the crown.
“As the winner of the Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2012, I will serve as ambassador for environmental protection campaigns countrywide, and do my best to create awareness of our environment, wildlife, natural resources, and ultimately the preservation of Mother Earth,” she said.
She started a recycling programme at her school and also travelled to a rural school in Esigodini where she planted trees and demonstrated the use of solar cookers.
The Miss Earth Zimbabwe foundation is designed to draw attention to environmental issues and to encourage all Zimbabweans to embrace the idea of actively seeking ways to clean up our environment.
These include conserving energy at home and at work, reducing wastage of water and electricity, recycling, and re-using.
