Jozi-based Livingway Music Promotions and Entertainment has struck a deal that will see the group perform at two venues in late November. Led by Tediuos Matsito, the group rose to prominence with their award-winning debut Nyaradzo. Follow-up albums Chavharaidzo and Manyemwe Emhumru enhanced their status as one of the most admired sungura acts. They have performed in Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia.

“We are trying to revive music that was popular back in the day even though we are in the Diaspora. Home-brewed music is still in our blood, which is the reason why we are bringing such groups as Ngwenya

Brothers. Most of us grew up listening to their music back when our country was still prosperous,” said Patrick Sibanda, director of LMPE.
