The new 12-track album, which is set to hit the market in two weeks’ time and is dubbed Zim Love Songs, features Minister Nhema.

“Nhema wrote the album and in November we are set to produce a video in which he will also feature,” said Gomo in an interview with The Zimbabwean.

Nhema would not confirm nor deny the reports, but an official in his ministry said the songs written by the minister portrayed the beauty of Zimbabwe.

Nhema is not the first Zimbabwean Minister to pen songs. Controversial Zanu (PF) spin doctor, Professor Jonathan Moyo, wrote several tracks for Urban Groves, a group of young singers.
