Started in 2009 by One World, a London-based charity, the summit brings together inspirational youths that have a positive impact in their communities. Mutsonziwa is part of network of young volunteers who initiate environmental projects that engage young people in and out of school.

She was recently selected to be the first young people’s representative on the National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe due to her leadership qualities.

Hess has over the last six years helped run a charity called “Zimbabwe Rural Schools Development Programme” that is building new schools in the most rural parts of Zimbabwe. He has helped increased the charity’s annual income from £4,000 to £55,000.

The most recent school to benefit is Makowe Primary, which was completed last year, benefiting over 350 children. Previous One Young World ambassadors from Zimbabwe are doing incredible community impact work, says the charity.
