The two are among players recently banned by Zifa over their alleged participation in the ‘Asia-gate’, but Coach Steve Barker told The Zimbabwean that to the Absa Premiership club, the match fixing bans remained “pure speculation”.
“The cases look set to run for a long time and until we have been updated otherwise, we will not do anything about it,” said Barker. “The players are doing very well and we are very happy with their performances. Arubi has served the team tremendously and those who have seen him perform will agree with me that these players are not intimidated by ban talks.”
