“He is a player of his own calibre, differently from other strikers and oozing a high work rate and good ball timing,” said De Sa.
Chinyama, who joined the Buccaneers from Dynamos earlier this season, has spent most of the time on the sidelines due to a knee injury, but that only came after he had given De Sa a glimpse of what he is made of. He is back at training now.
“He brings something we cannot get from anyone else in the team and that makes him a valuable signing for us. He is a big and reliable outright striker, strong in the air and will beat his markers easily when he fully settles.”
De Sa expects the big forward back in full action in a few weeks’ time. “The doctor and physiotherapist are working tirelessly on his knee. He also recently developed a stomach problem but is coming out fine now.”
“We hope all this will be sorted and he will be back to do what he knows soon,” added the Bucs coach.
