Felgate quits

Two-time Zimbabwe triathlete and Olympiad, Chris Felgate, has retired from the sport to “give others a chance” after taking part in his last event - the 2012 Troutbeck Challenge last weekend.

He is considering coaching as his next option. Felgate became the second triathlete to represent Zimbabwe at the Olympic Games, after Mark Marabini, who competed at the 2000 games. His departure signals a blow to Zimbabwean triathlon as he had become a role model whose success had helped encourage a growing band of youngsters to take up the sport that involves bike riding, swimming, and a marathon run. – Sports Reporter
