INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index was 0.08 points (0.05%) weaker at 154.96 points. MEIKLES (MEIK.zw) lost a cent to 15 cents while INNSCOR (INN.zw) and TURNALL (TURN.zw) retreated 0.50 cents to close at 71.50 cents and 5.50 cents respectively. CFI (CFI.zw) and RTG (RTG.zw) were down 0.10 cents to settle at 5 cents and 1.50 cents respectively.
Losses were countered by gains in PADENGA (PHL.zw) which added 0.25 cents to 4.75 cents and OK ZIMBABWE (OKZ.zw) gained 0.17 cents to 13.48 cents. NICOZ DIAMOND (NICO.zw) and STAR AFRICA (SACL.zw) were 0.10 cents firmer at 1.10 cents and 1.80 cents.
Week on week the industrial index slipped 0.77 points (0.49%).
MININGS
The mining index was down 6.89 points (8.60%) to close at 73.19 points. HWANGE (HCCL.zw) dropped 2 cents to 17 cents and BINDURA (BIND.zw) eased 0.50 cents to trade at 2 cents. FALGOLD (FALG.zw) and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) were unchanged at previous trading levels.
Week on week the mining index shed 7.63 points (9.44%).
