Ncube challenged the country’s youths to mobilise and unseat Zanu (PF) and its leader, President Robert Mugabe—who he said would enter the Guinness Book of Records as the oldest African President—through the ballot in the next elections likely next year.
“We strongly believe that the youths have the responsibility of retiring President Robert Mugabe. If the country votes for Mugabe, it will be giving the old man yet another chance of robbing the youths’
future. So, it is the last chance for the country to reclaim the future it has been robbed of by Zanu (PF) (PF),”Ncube said.
Youths make up about 72 percent of the country’s population, and this population group has the largest number of people eligible voters.
Civic society organisations are currently carrying voter awareness campaigns to urge youths to register as voters.
However, the Registrar General’s office is reportedly frustrating youths’ registration by demanding proof of residence from them and turning away a significant number.
The trend is seen as a move to strengthen Zanu (PF)’s chances of winning the next elections, considering that youths tend to align with that party’s opposition.

Certainly change is in our hands we can’t wait ,for pigs to fly we the new generation we are the change .since 72% of the Zimbabwean population I don’t see why we are still on the old page yearly .For the voters roll to be complete and transparent I will also suggest for it to be online to accommodate the youth abroad and if it can be accessible to everyone certainly the change we sing of will materialize. Mr Ncube with all your people in office may take action we shall support you all the way and light the banner of Change behind you .
