After the field day, President Tsvangirai will on Sunday address a Manicaland provincial rally at Murambinda growth point where thousands of party supporters are expected to attend,” said the MDC-T statement.
The memorial rally is part of similar rallies that are being held by MDC-T across the country, in memory of over 500 MDC members who were murdered in political violence suspected to have been orchestrated by Zanu (PF) militia and State security agents.
MDC-T accuses the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe of having been the funder of the violence.
Tsvangirai is also expected to meet some of the victims of the 2008 violence that claimed more than 400 victims.
