“ZUJ President, Cde Dumisani Sibanda has announced that he is temporarily stepping aside as ZUJ President after a workmate made allegations of indecent assault.
“In a brief statement written to the National Executive, the President said stepping aside would allow him to attend to the issue.
"In line with our Constitution, Vice President Cde Michael Chideme becomes acting President,” Dongozi said in a brief statement. Sibanda was elected ZUJ president in 2010.
He took over from Matthew Takaona who had been at the helm of the union since 2009.
